Hire a Worker

Pricing varies depending on the demands of each job and the expertise of the member.
​The minimum rate you can expect to pay is $25/hour but some jobs require our members to meet you for a quote. 

There are 3 ways to hire a member of the Southside Worker Center.
1. You can hire a worker online by filling out the form on the right and someone will contact you shortly to confirm. 
2. You can also hire a worker in person at 317 w
. 23rd St Monday-Friday from 6am to 10am.   Pull directly into the west parking lot and speak to the Coordinator on duty.
3. You can also hire a worker by calling (520) 955-8165 or by emailing southsidecentro@gmail.com.  
    Please list the dates, location, type of work, number of hours, and skills need to perform the job.
Submit
It is the responsibility of the employer to pay the agreed upon rate and to provide water, breaks, and tools as needed.

What questions will I be asked if I am looking for a worker?

How many workers do you need?
What type of work do you need done?

How many workers do you need?
How many hours will you need the worker(s) for?
How much do you pay an hour or for the day?

How much do you charge?

We ask from $20-$25/hour depending on the type of job.
We don't accept less than $20 an hour.
If the job is 4 hours or shorter we ask for $80.

What is the structure of the Center?

There should be two workers waving flags on separate corners of the parking lot to draw cars into the parking lot.The first person on the list should be outside with the coordinator.
Everyone else should be waiting in the parking lot. 
Employers speak directly with the Worker Dispatcher, currently Ramon, he will take notes on the job and assign you a member off the list of present members.

How can I get a membership ID?

Get an orientation.
Sign the contract.
Be a contributing member for three months to get an official ID.
